Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at PL COAST TO COAST TRUCKING LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition, and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Cargo Management: Load and unload cargo efficiently, and ensure that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
  • Logistics and Planning: Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and cargo deliveries to meet customer needs and company objectives.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with other drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will receive training
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding tasks, handling a large workload
  • Personal Qualities: Adaptability, strong team player
