Supply Chain Architect Role

Lumentum Canada, a top employer in the National Capital Region and Canada's Best Employers for Recent Graduates, is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Architect to join its team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with a focus on architecture and design. They will be responsible for designing and optimizing supply chain processes and systems, integrating advanced technologies, and leading process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize supply chain processes and systems to enhance efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
  • Integrate advanced technologies such as ERP systems, supply chain management software, IoT, and AI to enhance supply chain capabilities.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline and harmonize supply chain processes and eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools to gather and analyze supply chain data and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with overall business goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field with a Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on supply chain architecture or design.
  • Understanding of the telecom and hyperscaler industries and proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform complex data analysis and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • APICS CSCP or SCOR-P certification or similar certification.
  • Extensive experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Global supply chain experience with the ability to manage global supply chains.
