Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Experience Supervisor to join our team at Metro Supply Chain. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of delivery personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Review and optimize delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize costs.
- Manage the delivery process, including coordinating with dispatch, call center, and claims teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues.
- Monitor and analyze delivery performance metrics, including on-time delivery rates, customer satisfaction, and freight claims.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues related to delivery.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of delivery performance, including metrics and reports.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a focus on delivery operations.
- Proven track record of improving delivery efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of delivery personnel.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and make sound judgments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in logistics or supply chain management, such as APICS or CLTD.
