Key Responsibilities:
- Generate alerts to commence repairs on equipment or units.
- Carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks as required.
- Possess over 10 years of experience as a boiler or turbine operator, alongside 15 years in a steam generation facility.
- Demonstrate a high level of technical expertise in operating steam generation facilities and water treatment systems.
- Exhibit mechanical skills necessary for hands-on management of plant machinery, including DCS control systems, turbo generators, pumps, compressors, and heaters.
- Familiarity with Bailey Infinity or Delta V control systems, or other operational control frameworks.
- Ability to work independently for extended periods.
- Prior experience in a food processing or manufacturing setting is advantageous.
Schedule: The position involves a full-time commitment with 12-hour rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends during processing periods, and may require day shift maintenance during off-peak times.
This permanent role is governed by a union collective agreement, and a comprehensive benefits package along with a company pension plan is available. A pre-employment medical assessment and drug screening are prerequisites.
