Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement inquiry-based learning experiences that explore big ideas and concepts, allowing students to thrive in a complex knowledge construction environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.
- Work with Inclusive Education students, providing support and finding valuable work experiences within our community.
- Develop and implement case management plans to support students with complex needs.
- Assess student learning using Level B Assessments and other evaluation tools.
- Major or minor in Special Education or related field.
- Practicum and/or work experience in Special Education at the secondary level.
- Case management experience required.
- Training and experience with Level B Assessments (e.g. KBIT2/KTEA III).
- Eligible for B.C. Certification.
- Satisfactory teacher evaluation and/or final practicum reports.
The Abbotsford School District offers a competitive salary range of $61,838 to $108,458, based on length of service and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development and growth.
