About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health Safety Environment Advisor to join our team at Green Infrastructure Partners. As a key member of our HSE team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of health and safety strategies across our operations in Northern Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a culture of safety excellence throughout the region.
  • Identify and evaluate hazards to develop effective hazard control systems.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Investigate incidents and develop root cause analysis reports.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of injuries, property damages, and environmental events.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Health Claims Team to facilitate the Return-to-Work Program.
  • Develop and analyze health and safety statistics for Northern Ontario.
  • Design and deliver safety training programs for employees.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and provide updates on health and safety initiatives.
  • Develop job-specific analysis, site programs, and policies.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar HSE Advisor or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-driven with a focus on delivering success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outcome-focused with the ability to analyze and visualize data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to connect with people to seek different perspectives.
  • Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
