Job Title: Health and Safety Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Instructor to join our team at Northern Safety Solutions Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions to students in a practical shop work setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to prepare engaging teaching materials, and have experience working with adults and college/university students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs to students in a practical shop work setting
  • Prepare and maintain teaching materials, including outlines and course materials
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement training programs
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a business and industry setting, with occasional travel required.
