At the Canadian Race Relations Foundation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating our projects, events, and initiatives, ensuring their successful delivery and alignment with our mandate and strategic priorities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, with experience in coordinating national, regional, and local events, initiatives, and programs. You will be responsible for designing and implementing programs that align with our mandate and strategic priorities, conducting research to support program ideation, and identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
You will also be responsible for developing program concepts and briefing notes, briefing the Director, Executive team, and CEO to ensure program approval, and identifying, building, and strengthening relationships with program partners and collaborators.
In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating a program throughout its lifecycle, including managing pivots and time-sensitive changes, tracking and updating progress towards programmatic milestones, and providing onsite programmatic support.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of anti-racism, valuing diversity, and contributions to an inclusive working and learning environment. You will also have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing multiple regional and national programs and events, simultaneously using trauma-informed and community-centered practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ability to brief the senior leadership team on programs clearly and concisely.
- Ability to independently resolve issues, innovate, and find creative solutions to challenges.
- Training in race relations, anti-racism, grant administration, community building, and engagement is a definite asset.
- Experience working in a government or crown corporation environment is an asset.
