Job Summary

Stuart Dean Company Inc. is seeking a skilled painter and decorator to join our team. As a specialized painter and decorator, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces are in good condition.
  • Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work at heights, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, initiative, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
Work Environment

As a painter and decorator with Stuart Dean Company Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
