Each location features exceptional amenities, including upscale accommodations, advanced conference facilities, tranquil wellness centers, and exhilarating outdoor experiences. Our goal is to deliver an extraordinary experience for our visitors, blending adventure, relaxation, and outstanding service.

Position Overview: The Director of Marketing and Public Relations will spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing and public relations strategies aimed at enhancing revenue and performance. This role demands a vibrant leader with a strong affinity for hospitality, extensive knowledge of the travel and tourism sector, and the capability to lead and motivate a diverse team. The Director will collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure marketing efforts align with organizational goals and foster growth across both properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Development:
    • Formulate and execute cohesive marketing and PR strategies for both resorts.
    • Identify target demographics and design customized campaigns to engage various guest segments.
    • Evaluate market dynamics, competitor actions, and customer insights to guide strategic choices.
  2. Marketing Initiatives:
    • Create and implement multi-platform marketing initiatives, encompassing digital, print, social media, and email outreach.
    • Leverage SEO, SEM, and PPC methodologies to enhance online visibility and drive traffic to the resorts' websites.
    • Assess and report on the success of marketing initiatives, refining strategies as necessary.
  3. Leadership:
    • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Brand Strategy to ensure brand consistency and messaging.
  4. Public Relations Management:
    • Establish and nurture relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
    • Oversee the production and dissemination of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
    • Plan and coordinate media events, press tours, and other PR activities to generate favorable coverage.
  5. Team Development:
    • Guide and mentor a team of marketing professionals, promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture.
    • Set clear objectives and performance indicators for the team, conducting regular assessments and providing constructive feedback.
    • Facilitate ongoing professional development for team members through training and growth opportunities.
    • Build strong partnerships with our agency collaborators.
  6. Event Marketing:
    • Manage marketing strategies for events and conferences hosted at both resorts.
    • Create promotional materials and tactics to optimize attendance and engagement.
    • Work alongside event organizers to ensure smooth execution and positive guest experiences.
  7. Financial Oversight:
    • Develop and oversee the marketing and PR budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
    • Monitor expenditures and ROI, making informed decisions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8-10 years of experience in marketing and public relations, particularly within the hospitality sector.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and executing impactful marketing and PR campaigns.
  • A strong enthusiasm for travel, hospitality, and outdoor activities.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
