About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Coach to join our team at Zion Taekwondo. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for leading our athletes to success in competitive events and games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management Duties: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our taekwondo program, including planning and implementing training sessions, managing team dynamics, and making tactical decisions during competitions.
  • Coaching and Development: Design and deliver training programs that cater to the needs of our athletes, focusing on skill development, physical conditioning, and mental preparation.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate and inspire our athletes to achieve their full potential, fostering a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Performance Analysis: Evaluate the performance of our athletes and teams, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Recruitment and Evaluation: Identify and recruit talented athletes, and evaluate their skills and performance to determine their suitability for our program.
Requirements
  • Education: A strong educational background in a relevant field, such as sports science or physical education.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a coaching or leadership role, preferably in a taekwondo or martial arts setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Our training facility is air-conditioned and non-smoking, providing a comfortable and healthy environment for our athletes.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
