PPE Student Council Leadership Opportunities

The Arts & Science Undergraduate Society (ASUS) is seeking highly motivated and dedicated students to fill various leadership positions within the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) Student Council (PPE PSC).
Key Responsibilities:- Peer Mentor: Provide guidance and support to students in PPE, assist with course selection and the application process, and make students aware of internal and external initiatives relevant to the program.
- Financial Director: Oversee the council's budgeting and financial planning, communicate with outreach to incorporate grants into the budget, and allocate budgets for events.
- Outreach Director: Identify opportunities for students in PPE, seek out bursaries and financial aid for the council, and coordinate with the marketing team to promote relevant opportunities to the PPE community.
- Alumni Director: Maintain connections with PPE alumni, keep them informed about ongoing events, and foster ongoing communication between alumni and the program.
- Merchandise Director: Design and oversee the production and sales of PPE merchandise, liaise with manufacturers to create and deliver products, and collaborate with the financial team to monitor costs and profits.
- Logistics Director: Coordinate with the events team to ensure seamless logistical support, develop event schedules, and delegate roles within the council.
- Marketing Director: Curate and manage the council's social media presence, engage with the PPE community by promoting events and news, and create marketing materials to support council activities.
- Events Director: Plan and organize events within the PPE PSC, complete ASUS and AMS forms for event approvals, and coordinate with logistics for task delegation and scheduling.
- Events Coordinator: Assist and collaborate with the Events Director in planning and executing PSC events, support logistical needs, and ensure the smooth operation of council activities.
- EDII-A Director: Ensure all events are inclusive and equitable for all students, plan and implement initiatives that promote equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, and collaborate with the marketing team to raise awareness of EDII-A initiatives and events.
Applicants should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and demonstrate a commitment to the values and objectives of the PPE program.
