Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1000490354 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 3-4 staff members
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports as required
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-35 hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
