Key ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a proactive individual to embrace exciting challenges as a Strategic Human Resources Partner. Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the development and dissemination of the organization’s vision, while mobilizing and influencing the values expressed by leadership to foster a culture of performance and recognition.
- Establishing robust relationships with leaders across various employee groups, ensuring collaborative decision-making with a human-centric approach and fairness in practice application.
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s operations and requirements, identifying human resources strategies, and implementing performance indicators to monitor and analyze gaps, deploying value-added initiatives as prioritized by leadership.
- Ensuring compliance with legal standards and overseeing the implementation of human resources programs and policies across different employee groups.
- Formulating and executing strategies for recruitment, pay equity, salary and benefits administration, labor relations, training, and development in alignment with organizational needs and industry trends.
- Participating in or chairing various committees related to pension plans, labor relations, grievances, and skills development.
- Collaborating with the leadership team to identify change management and continuous improvement initiatives for Human Resources services, ensuring effective deployment and support for stakeholders.
- Embodying the company’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for actions while caring for colleagues and the organization.
- A Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within a unionized environment. Membership in the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés is advantageous.
- Essential experience in HR functions, with additional experience in Merger & Acquisitions considered a plus.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset, complemented by strong verbal and written communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Exceptional team-building capabilities and a promoter of collaboration across multiple sites.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence and make decisions that align with strategic objectives and contribute to organizational success.
- Results-driven with a proven ability to effectively plan and meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations governing human resources management and occupational health and safety.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and a readiness to learn and utilize new systems.
- Willingness to work on-site four times a week.
- Engage in anticipating and responding to technological trends.
- Assist clients in enhancing efficiency and sustainability, making a significant impact.
- Leverage your expertise to drive technological advancements.
