Job Summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a skilled and compassionate Driver to provide safe and timely transportation for our residents to and from various activities. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Transport residents to and from various activities, including appointments, outings, and social events
  • Assist residents with special needs during transportation, such as carrying packages, opening doors, and assisting with mobility
  • Provide miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless transportation services
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record
  • Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety procedures
  • Ability to react calmly in emergency situations and be considerate of residents' needs
  • Ability to operate a chair lift and secure regular and mechanical wheelchairs and scooters
