Position Overview

S&S Homes is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Construction Laborer. This position involves various tasks that are essential to the successful completion of construction projects.

Education Requirements
  • No formal education, degree, or certification is required.
Work Environment

The role is primarily outdoors, often in dusty conditions, requiring adaptability to various weather elements.

Work Setting
  • Willingness to relocate is necessary.
  • Relocation expenses will be covered by the employer.
Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials efficiently.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist medical personnel on-site as needed.
  • Support the framing of houses, erecting walls, and constructing roofs.
  • Manage cleanup of chemical spills and other hazardous materials.
  • Direct traffic in and around construction zones to ensure safety.
Physical Requirements

This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Tools and Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots are required for this role.
Personal Attributes
  • Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
  • Must be a team player, collaborating effectively with others.
Experience

No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided. This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
