Position Overview

The role of the Restaurant Manager at Lazeez Shawarma involves overseeing the daily operations of our culinary establishment, ensuring that we maintain high standards of service and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Analyze financial reports to enhance and sustain the restaurant's profitability.
  • Operational Oversight: Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Revenue Monitoring: Track revenues to manage labor costs effectively.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, supervise, and assess staff performance, while setting work schedules.
  • Cash Management: Balance cash and complete financial documentation including balance sheets and cash reports.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews to foster staff development.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure availability of products.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Client Negotiation: Engage with clients for catering services and facility usage.
  • Marketing Participation: Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Event Management: Oversee and coordinate events hosted at the restaurant.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
