About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Asset Researcher to join our Facilities Investment Management Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing research and asset data collection support to our Facility Asset Management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site visits to collect and analyze asset information, including equipment data, accommodation status, and building measurements.
  • Perform data analysis and synthesis on collected data to inform asset management decisions.
  • Update or extract information from internal systems, such as Computer-aided Design (CAD) Drawing Inventory, inforEAM, and PowerPlan.
  • Liaise with other departments, business units, operations staff, and consultants to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct and compile journal and website research on best practices and trends in asset management.
Qualifications
  • A completed 2-year diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering with at least 1 year of experience in asset management; OR
  • A degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with research, analysis, and the ability to synthesize large volumes of information from various sources.
  • Experience using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
  • A valid Class 5 Licence or Graduate Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalency) and the use of a personal vehicle.
  • Knowledge and/or experience working in facility management, asset management, and/or architecture.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated customer focus.
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
