Position Overview

As a Personal Care Assistant at EUFT DINGENUS WESTDORP, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, primarily the elderly. Your dedication and support will ensure they receive the care they need in the comfort of their own homes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
Work Environment

We offer optional accommodation at no charge on a live-in basis, although this is not a condition of employment. Staff accommodation is also provided, allowing you to work in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks
  • Encourage and assist in regular physical activities, such as walking
  • Support clients during meal times, including feeding assistance
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with personal care needs
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals

This position primarily focuses on providing care for the elderly, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
