Job Overview

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join their Enterprise Platform Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the GitLab platform for a leading retail and wellness company. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement scalable and efficient software solutions using GitLab.
  2. Collaborate with development teams and leaders to build capabilities within the platform engineering space.
  3. Develop and maintain release templates to ensure consistency in deployments.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest features and best practices in GitLab and related technologies.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in technology-based roles.
  • 3-5 years of experience with GitLab, including deploying with CI/CD pipelines or creating deployment templates.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Experience maintaining DevOps processes within AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, DevOps Processes, and GitLab.
