LPN Opportunity at Northwood
Northwood is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Halifax team. As an LPN at Northwood, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team to provide high-quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct resident checks and rounds, including vital signs, breathing, and safety checks
- Administer medications and process doctor's orders
- Provide resident personal care, including feeding, assistance with bowel care, dressing, wound care, and blood work
- Support residents, families, and staff with questions and concerns
- Perform general duties and administration, including mail, paperwork, ordering supplies, and assigning duties
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nurses with pharmacological training
- Licensed Practical Nurse registered in the Province of Nova Scotia
- Current basic CPR
- Recent clinical experience, including medication administration and leadership duties
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis
