Stockroom Management Consultant

The Retail Operations Specialist collaborates closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure effective stockroom management and timely merchandise updates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Engagement
- Deliver exceptional, professional, and knowledgeable service to clients during operational hours.
- Support the training of fellow cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems.
- Assist in upholding cleanliness and organization standards within the cashier area.
- Stay informed about and contribute to maintaining Sephora's merchandising strategies.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at minimizing inventory loss.
- Execute timely receipt and processing of shipments.
- Organize and uphold stockroom standards in alignment with company policies.
- Manage transfers, damages, and testers according to company guidelines.
- Verify all visual elements and report any missing or damaged items to the Operations Supervisor.
- Ensure that safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Communicate any inventory-related issues to Supervisors or Store Management.
- Adhere to sampling policies and procedures.
- Participate in inventory management activities.
- Designated consultants will receive cross-training in cashier duties.
- 1-2 years of experience in retail or client service, preferably in a stockroom role.
- Strong computer, arithmetic, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining attentive to client and business needs.
- Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend and stretch to stock shelves.
