About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Flavors & Spices Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision and Training

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are trained in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Menu Planning and Execution

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Financial Management

Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that their needs are met.

Reporting and Communication

Prepare and submit reports, and communicate effectively with the culinary team and other stakeholders.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to stand for extended periods and walk frequently.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

Experience is an asset.

Work Setting

Willing to relocate, and able to work in a restaurant environment.
