Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at New Indian Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving Customers: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
  • Food Preparation and Handling: Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, as well as wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to train and adapt to changing menu items, promotions, and customer preferences.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 36 hours per week.
