About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Research Manager to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving a customer-focused culture throughout the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research Strategy: Develop and execute all aspects of market research for stakeholders across the Scotiabank Group of Companies.
  • Project Management: Design and deliver end-to-end research projects leveraging in-house tools and resources when suitable.
  • Vendor Management: Identify and manage vendor relationships with high-quality partners.
  • Insights and Analysis: Coordinating, analyzing, and presenting market research data, including insights from multiple sources, advising stakeholders or senior management on the best ways to action insights.
  • Team Collaboration: Fostering trust with internal stakeholders, including key senior leaders across the organization to leverage insights to influence business strategies and decisions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Advanced level of experience in market research (8 or more years), preferably on the vendor or client-side.
  • Skills: Thorough understanding of the end-to-end process of quantitative and qualitative market research, superb written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to translate and communicate business requirements into technical research project specifications.
  • Education: Completed an undergraduate university degree or college, such as commerce, mathematics, or computer science.
