We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at JON SMITH SUBS. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Tight deadlines
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Physically demanding
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
