Join the team at Federated Co-operatives Limited as we seek a dedicated Liquor Clerk for our retail outlet. This position is ideal for individuals looking to enter or re-enter the workforce, or those seeking supplementary income during retirement. We offer flexible hours that cater to various schedules.

We are currently in search of a casual Liquor Clerk to enhance our operations.

Employment Type: Casual, with less than 24 hours per week.

Availability: Candidates should be available on weekdays and weekends, covering mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet all customers warmly and ensure a positive shopping experience,
  • Provide knowledgeable assistance and recommendations regarding products,
  • Accurately process sales transactions,
  • Receive, unpack, and display merchandise effectively,
  • Perform opening and closing tasks as required,
  • Adhere to company policies and regulations,
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment,
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old,
  • Valid ProServe certification is mandatory,
  • Strong communication skills are essential,
  • Exceptional customer service abilities,
  • Previous experience in retail is advantageous,
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively,
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, as the role involves handling merchandise.
