Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Gaetan Riendeau Inc. in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.
Job Summary:The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and implementing price and credit policies. They will also be responsible for locating, selecting, and procuring merchandise for resale, as well as planning budgets and monitoring revenues and expenses.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage staff and assign duties
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold
- Implement price and credit policies
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
- Determine staffing requirements
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
- Conduct performance reviews
- Supervise staff
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
