About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Coordinator to join our team at Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic DSB. As a key member of our support services team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our schools and ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide secretarial services to our schools, including preparing and distributing documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Respond to inquiries and maintain accurate records and files.
  • Process purchase orders, mail, and courier materials.
  • Assist with scheduling and arranging appointments, meetings, and conferences.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents, including confidential materials.
  • Maintain our record management system and ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Process student admissions, transfers, and timetable revisions.
  • Assist with processing and securing applications for school tax support.
  • Process purchase orders and arrange for the delivery of supplies and equipment.
  • Duplicate, collate, and assemble materials as required.
  • Maintain petty cash float and records.
  • Assist with school banking procedures and reconcile monies.
  • Assist with the organization and coordination of student transportation.
  • Instruct personnel in the operation of office equipment.
  • Assist with the arrangements for service and repair of office equipment and computers.
  • Assist with medical logs and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • OSSD or equivalent, plus one year of office administration, secretarial, or business experience.
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Knowledge of pertinent government legislation and ministry and board policies, directives, regulations, and procedures.
  • Ability to operate various office equipment, including photocopiers, calculators, and public address systems.
  • High level of oral and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
