Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Assembly Line Worker to join our team at Compass Canada. As a key member of our food production team, you will be responsible for plating food for hospitals and moving it through the packaging assembly line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Properly tray meals on the assembly lines
  • Portion and label meals
  • Sort and unbox frozen food and empty it into the bin
  • Receive food products or ship meals when required
  • Frequently lift, move, push, and carry supplies and carts (maximum lifting 30 lb.)
  • Frequently stand for long periods
  • Work in a cold environment
  • Retrieve food products from refrigerators or freezers
  • Operate food carts, serving utensils, and food preparation equipment
  • Maintain attention to detail
Requirements
  • High School diploma
  • 1 year of experience in the food industry or food handling (preferred)
  • Ability to work straight morning shifts
