We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) in Kelowna, B.C.

About the Role:

This permanent part-time (0.63 FTE) position offers a unique opportunity to draw on your clinical skills as you provide service in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive assessment, care planning, and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and the multidisciplinary team to provide direct psychosocial care, counseling, system navigation, and advocacy.
  • Develop and provide social work services to maintain or improve the health and social well-being and functioning of the identified population.
