Telecommunications Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cable Installation Assistant to join our team at Centurion Alarm & Lock NB Inc. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting tradespersons and other workers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications systems, including cable laying and termination.
- Help tradespersons and other workers with tasks such as moving tools and equipment, and providing support as directed.
- Work in a variety of environments, including outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces. The work will be physically demanding and may involve working in extreme temperatures, dusty conditions, and other challenging environments.
