Role Overview:

Site Superintendent - Salary: $110,000.00-$140,000.00 per year

Reporting directly to the General Superintendent, the Site Superintendent will oversee all daily operations on the construction site, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Site Superintendent, you will be accountable for:

  • Strategizing, planning, organizing, supervising, and managing construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Overseeing daily field operations and managing the construction site effectively.
  • Implementing on-site safety programs and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Establishing and maintaining a professional appearance for the site.
  • Coordinating site mobilization and necessary facilities and services.
  • Ensuring site security and adherence to permit requirements.
  • Collaborating with other sites for resource sharing.
  • Arranging inspections and testing of various construction elements.
  • Managing site documentation and filing.
  • Conducting safety and coordination meetings, preparing and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Managing project costs to remain within budget.
  • Preparing and submitting job reports.
  • Documenting all verbal communications and site occurrences in writing.
  • Overseeing site clean-up and ensuring costs are allocated to responsible parties while staying within budget.
  • Managing public relations for the site and the surrounding community.
  • Ensuring all temporary protections during construction meet occupancy requirements, addressing deficiencies, and regularly updating as-built drawings on-site.

Qualification Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the ICI construction industry.
  • Experience with innovative construction methods is advantageous.
  • A comprehensive understanding and implementation of health and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with construction site environments across all seasons.
  • Gold Seal Certification is a plus.
  • LEED Accreditation is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of Suretrak, Primavera P3 or P6, Procore, BIM Software, or E-Builder Project Management Software is advantageous.
  • Exposure to the construction worksite environment in all seasons.
