Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team at Michael Page International Canada Limited. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process of industrial, commercial, and institutional projects in the Greater Toronto region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery
    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met
  • Site Management
    • Oversee site operations, including labor, materials, and equipment management
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members
    • Manage and resolve conflicts and issues that may arise during project execution
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary diploma in a construction-related discipline
    • 10+ years of progressive construction experience, mainly with industrial, commercial, and institutional construction management firms
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong leadership and project management skills
    • Knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, potential problems, and timelines
    • Knowledge of relevant construction law and building codes
