About the Role:

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Director - Digital Experience to lead the implementation of marketing capabilities and drive the development of our product strategy and technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the implementation of marketing capabilities to deliver personalized experiences at scale using the Adobe Experience suite of marketing platforms.
  2. Collaborate with business, Product, and Engineering teams to develop and refine the overall product strategy and technology roadmap.
  3. Ensure solutions align with business objectives and expectations by delivering intended value and adhering to organizational and industry standards throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  4. Contribute to the creation of proof of concepts (POCs) to test validated solutions.
  5. Oversee daily product activities throughout the entire lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration of tasks into product backlogs.
  6. Drive proactive and reactive problem management across all delivery teams.
  7. Work independently with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently without direct input or oversight.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of relevant experience in the technical space, with 3+ years of experience as a Technical Lead delivering marketing technology projects.
  2. 1+ year of hands-on experience in developing and implementing integrated marketing solutions with a focus on personalization, utilizing the Adobe Experience suite of platforms, specifically Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Real-time Customer Data, and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
  3. 2+ years of experience with data management, including data modeling, data integration, and data governance.
  4. 2-3 years of experience leading large-scale projects through design, build, and implementation.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  1. Proficiency in working with Adobe Experience Cloud products, including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Manager, and Adobe Campaign.
  2. Experience with AEM Sites, Assets, Workflow.
  3. Experience working with Real-time, high availability, and low latency systems.

Soft Skills:

  1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to convert business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  2. Goal-oriented individual who can keep up with technical vendor capabilities.
  3. Strong leadership skills.

Education:

Post-secondary education in a technical field, such as computer science, is preferred. Adobe certifications are an asset.
