Job Title: Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Technology

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Technology will be responsible for designing and delivering highly scalable digital marketing solutions for capturing leads and for communications to clients and prospects across various RBC systems. This role will operate as a subject matter expert, solution consultant, and relationship manager for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with business and technical partners to design approaches that enable business solutions, develop requirements, and recommend improvements.
  • Drive working sessions with project teams to ensure expectations and direction are aligned, timelines are met, and identify additional product/service opportunities.
  • Perform detailed analysis and map functional and data requirements to ensure end-to-end solutions meet project objectives. Lead documentation and present solutions to cross-functional team members from multiple technology and business units.
  • Provide proactive coaching to the team, recommend continuous improvement of processes to optimize team productivity, drive change, and influence.
  • Provide schedules, estimates for projects and enhancements, including risk-based provisions, and status updates.
  • Support Business Analysts in preparing user stories based on priority and grooming the backlog. Support Quality Assurance in preparing Functional Test cases, coordinate UAT Test plans, and PIV test plans.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements, manage competing priorities, and ensure successful completion of key projects in flight and initiation of new projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between business partners, stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure clear, timely, and accurate communication.
  • Able to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, campaign management, or comparable experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development and/or project management and/or business (system) analysis and quality documentation.
  • Administration and Testing experience on Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Strong Written and Oral Communications skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strategic thinker who is able to connect the dots and see things from a big picture perspective.
  • Understanding of RESTful API request and response formats.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience with Marketing Automation platforms.
  • SQL Knowledge and experience.
  • Sales Cloud certifications.
  • Experience working in Agile projects.
  • Experience and understanding of the banking environment.
