Senior Data Modeler for SAP HANA

Astra North Infoteck Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Data Modeler with SAP HANA expertise to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and implementing data solutions that drive business insights and support critical decision-making.

As a key member of our technology team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their analytical needs and translate them into robust data models. Your expertise in SQL and SAP HANA will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of our data infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage with business leaders and technical teams to gather requirements and define data solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Analyze existing data systems and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Design and develop comprehensive data models, including dimensional models, views, and table functions, adhering to industry best practices and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with software developers to ensure seamless integration of data models into applications and reporting platforms.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation to guarantee the quality and reliability of data solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Modeler with a proven track record of success in designing and implementing data solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with SAP HANA.
  • In-depth understanding of data modeling principles, including dimensional modeling and star schema design.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
