Job Description:

Immediate need for a talented SAP BODS HANA professional. This is a 12+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in a remote setting. Please review the job description below and contact us if you are interested.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Create Dimensional Models: Develop dimensional models for customer reporting systems in HANA/Sybase IQ, load star schemas with customer historic data, and create dashboards and reports to meet reporting needs in HANA.
  • Develop SQL Procedures/Data Services Jobs: Create SQL procedures/data services jobs for the loading process, analyze monthly snapshot data available in Sybase IQ database to use in predictive analytics based on user requests, and generate star schemas and dimension tables with required measures and attributes for all predictive analytic requirements.
  • Design a Change Data Capture Process: Design a change data capture process to update the dimension tables and the fact table or calculation views after each monthly data load.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Dimensional Modeling: Experience with dimensional modeling, SAP Sybase IQ, SAP data services, predictive analytics, and large databases.
  • Database Management: Range partitioned tables, business objects or similar tools, designing and loading star schema, SQL, T-SQL, and stored procedures.
  • SAP HANA: Experience with SAP HANA, dashboards and reports using HANA, SAP HANA modeling views, and experience in using third-party reporting tools with HANA.
  • Education: Requires years with BS/BA or years with MS/MA or 5 - 7 years with PhD.
