About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Aggudo Coffee. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our café, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Inventory Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.
    • Monitor and address any quality control issues promptly, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on café performance, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
    • Establish and maintain accurate records of staff performance, training, and development.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
    • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of physical activity and attention to detail.

Language and Work Environment

The primary language of work is English. The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
