**Job Summary**
Queen's University is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Dean of the Faculty of Education. As a key member of the university's senior leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the Faculty's strategic direction, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting the university's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the Faculty, aligning with the university's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of senior administrators, faculty members, and staff to achieve the Faculty's mission and objectives.
- Foster a culture of excellence in research, teaching, and service, and promote the Faculty's reputation as a leader in education.
- Develop and manage the Faculty's budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial sustainability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty members, staff, students, alumni, and community partners.
- Represent the Faculty and the university in various forums and committees, promoting the university's interests and advancing its reputation.
**Requirements**
- Ph.D. in Education or a related field.
- Proven track record of senior academic and administrative leadership in education or a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and advancing the university's commitment to these values.
