We are a dynamic restaurant company seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Fry Scarborough. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Lead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide training and guidance to staff on their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service standards.

Inventory Management

Estimate and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.

Reporting and Record Keeping

Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock levels, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.

Communication

Communicate effectively with the kitchen team, front-of-house staff, and management to ensure that we are working together to deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role

Skills and Abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and knowledge of point-of-sale systems.

Language

Fluent in English
