Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Wandering River A&W. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a smooth service flow.
  • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet our high standards.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile and a positive attitude.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a wide range of options for our customers.
  • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently to meet their needs.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and responsibly.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
  • Fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure.
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Client focus and excellent communication skills.
