Plumber - Water Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Icon Projects Ltd. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Installation
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
- Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
- Pipe Fitting and Testing
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
- System Requirements and Supervision
- Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
- Supervise other workers and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
- Support for Diverse Groups
- Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Work Environment
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plumbing or a related field
- Or equivalent experience
