Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional with a background in planning and scheduling for energy construction projects. This role involves managing schedules for a variety of oil and gas construction initiatives, ranging from small-scale to large-scale operations.
District Overview
Kiewit Energy Canada is a prominent industrial contractor engaged in the construction of oil and gas facilities, including projects related to oil sands processing, upgrading and refining, midstream facilities, and terminal projects. Our headquarters is located in Calgary, and we also operate a Modular Yard facility in Edmonton. Our engineering division is at the forefront of innovative engineering services, supporting both current projects and future endeavors across Canada.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist teams in managing project schedules by providing the following services:
- Development of Project Schedules
- Establishment of Baselines
- Updates on Progress and Schedules
- Conducting Schedule Impact Analyses
- Performing Manpower Analyses
- Executing Critical Path Analyses
- Proficiency in scheduling software
- Collaborating with Operations, Owners, and Subcontractors to address work impacts and resolve issues
- Providing necessary information regarding project schedule modifications and presentations
Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field/experience.
- Expertise in scheduling software such as Primavera P6.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and Earned Value Analysis.
- Familiarity with resource loading and leveling using P6.
- Understanding of construction and engineering principles.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and record-keeping abilities.
- Willingness to travel or relocate as required by business needs.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Eligibility for cross-border travel (Canada/US).
