Position Overview

As a Food Service Supervisor at JUNGLE JIM'S RESTAURANT, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and dining services. Your leadership will ensure that our food quality and service standards are consistently met.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff engaged in food preparation and portioning.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports regarding kitchen operations.
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays and ensure proper presentation.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for kitchen personnel.
  • Provide training to staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work environment.
  • Manage inventory and keep records of food supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes.
