Job Title: Home Health Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Assistant to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Home Health Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities, such as walking and using the bathroom
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and cleaning of living areas
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
