Job Title: Home Health Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Assistant to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Home Health Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and nutrition, ensuring clients receive a balanced diet.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and social support, engaging clients in activities and conversation.
  • Administer medications and provide wound care, as required.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment:

Our Home Health Care Assistants work in a variety of settings, including rural areas and clients' homes. You will be required to travel to different locations, using your own vehicle.
