About the Role

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our Senior Leadership Team as Vice President, Finance. As a key member of our leadership team, you will contribute to the strategic direction and leadership of FCL, its subsidiaries, and related companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Leadership – Collaborate with local co-ops to ensure value for the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) and foster productive relationships with business and local communities.
  • People Leadership – Provide leadership as a strong advocate and role model for FCL's values, vision, mission, brand, and Co-op's Employee Experience.
  • Executive Leadership – Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the Finance Business Unit, including Accounting, Finance & Systems, Capital Optimization, Audit Services, and Growth & Business Development.
  • Business Management – Lead strategic business planning, risk management, goal setting, branding, and talent management processes within the Finance Business Unit.
  • Innovation – Provide leadership, oversight, and executive sponsorship to key strategic projects and initiatives that support and enable the Finance Business Unit as a trusted business partner to its varied customers and stakeholders.
  • Risk Management – Provide leadership to the Enterprise in the identification, assessment, and potential mitigation of key business risks.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business or Commerce (or equivalent experience).
  • Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
  • Minimum 10 years of related and progressive experience, with a minimum of 5 years at an Organization Leader level or equivalent.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and results-oriented, with a strong commitment to collaboration, building relationships, and valuing the perspectives of others.
