Job Title: Registered Pharmacy Technician

As a valued member of our pharmacy team, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality patient-centered care to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Fort Nelson, BC.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist our pharmacists in dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners
  • Transferring prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies
  • Ensuring that a prescription is complete and authentic
  • Ensuring the accuracy and performing the final check of a prepared prescription
  • Performing all the technical functions of dispensing prescriptions
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries
  • Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies
Requirements:
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician license and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Pharmacy dispensary experience or Kroll computer experience would be an asset
