**Job Summary**

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Regulated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations, including receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions, transferring prescriptions, and performing final checks on prepared prescriptions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners
  • Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies
  • Ensure that prescriptions are complete and authentic
  • Perform final checks on prepared prescriptions
  • Perform all technical functions of dispensing prescriptions
  • Support and maintain dispensary and front store (OTC) operations
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Adhere to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies
  • Observe and direct Pharmacy Assistants and Clerks in dispensary activities

**Requirements**

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Regulated Pharmacy Technician licence and good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC
  • Pharmacy dispensary experience or Kroll computer experience an asset
